Jessica Glowacz, LMSW & Founder
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with a Masters in Social Work and national certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have more than a decade of experience working with children and families in foster care, court systems, schools, hospitals and home-based settings.
I created Mindful Glow after witnessing gaps and barriers in traditional systems and therapy settings. A lack of resources and stigma around behavioral health means many individuals and families miss out on education and basic tools for managing conflict or leading happier lives.
At Mindful Glow, I work within existing community settings to reach those who might avoid tradition therapy spaces. Evidence-based services are personalized to apply in home, school, and social settings. The education and tools empower individuals to overcome challenges by better understanding negative thought processes and effective communication tools.
Mindful Glow was also created to help address the lack of supervisors available in Michigan to Limited License Social Workers (LLMSW). By providing supervision, I hope to increase the number of community clinicians, decrease waiting lists for services, and assist clinicians in not only understanding their legal obligations, but their confidence in best practices.
With my certificate from the National Association of Social Work (NASW) in Core Supervision, I provide supervision to individuals with a LLMSW, in the clinical field working with children, individuals and families with an interest in trauma, anxiety, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
